MUSEUMS

In Rome, it is hard to get away from art. Tthe best museum in Rome is the city itself. Rome holds a myriad of cultural treasures both in its streets and in impressive museums and galleries. You cannot miss visiting the most memorableof ones:

– Capitoline Museums
– Borghese Gallery
– Colonna Gallery

But do not forget to think about the more modern side. With its futuristic lines, the MAXXI Museo Nazionale, designed by Zaha Hadid, the Iraqi-British architect, the MAXXI,  stands in harmonious contrast to the wonders of ancient Rome. it hosts a permanent collection dedicated to the art of the 21st century.
