Professor Massimo Ammaniti MD is a Child Psychiatrist and a member of the Psychoanalyst of the International Psychoanalytical Association, He is a Honorary Professor of the Sapienza University of Rome, where he had the position of Full Professor of Developmental Psychopathology and Chairman of the Infant and Adolescent Clinical Psychology Faculty.
Professor Ammaniti is a Previous Member of the Board of Directors of WAIMH and a Previous Member of the Research Advisory Board of the International Psychoanalytical Association.
Professor Ammaniti has published clinical and research articles about infancy and adolescence in International Journals. Recently he has published a book “The birth of intersubjectivity” together with Vittorio Gallese, Norton Publisher.
